The spring portion of the 2012-13 NCAC tennis season continued last week, highlighted by the Kenyon men hoisting the ITA National Indoor Team Championship with victories over North Carolina Wesleyan, 8-1, Cal Lutheran, 6-3, and Emory, 5-4. The DePauw women's squad will highlight competition this week as DPU will play host to the 2013 ITA National Women's Indoor Championships, March 1-3.

Oberlin jumped out of the gates strong as the men's squad took down Wabash, 5-4, and the Yeowomen recorded an 8-1 triumph over Otterbein. Tennis action continues this week, highlighted by the Kenyon men competing at the ITA Indoor Nationals in St. Peter, Minnesota.

In addition, the Denison men's lacrosse team bowed out of the NCAA Tournament in the quarterfinal round with a 14-7 setback against Stevenson, while DePauw and Wooster were both eliminated from their respective double-elimination regional tournaments as part of the NCAA Div. III Baseball Championships.

For the fourth time in the last five seasons, Kenyon (22-4) has advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Tournament. The fourth-ranked Lords will square off against No. 5 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (29-4) in a quarterfinal match next Monday, May 21, at the Carry Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina. The DePauw University women’s tennis team was eliminated from the 2012 NCAA Division III Tournament in the third-round after dropping a 5-0 decision against Carnegie Mellon.
