The DePauw University women's tennis team captured its first-ever North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) championship after defeating Oberlin, 5-1, in Saturday's championship match. The Tigers opened the tournament with a 5-0 triumph over Wooster in the quarterfinals and then advanced to the championship match with a 7-0 victory over Kenyon in the semifinals.

Rounding out the tournament results, Denison finished third with a 5-1 triumph over Kenyon in the third-place match, Allegheny finished fifth with a 5-3 victory over Wittenberg in the fifth-place match and Ohio Wesleyan finished seventh with a 5-0 victory over Wooster in the seventh-place match.
