KENYON WOMEN AND DENISON MEN LEAD AFTER FIRST FULL DAY OF COMPETITION AT 2013 NCAC SWIMMING & DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS

After 12 total events, the Kenyon women and Denison men have swum out to early leads at the 2013 North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming & Diving Championships. The Ladies won two of the night's five women's events and finished atop the day two leaderboard with 498 points, while the Big Red men won two of the evening's six men's events to finish with 560.5 points.

ALLEGHENY WOMEN LEAD 2013 NCAC SWIMMING & DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS AFTER ONE EVENT

The Allegheny College women's team leads the 2013 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Swimming & Diving Championships with 103 points following Wednesday evening's women's three-meter diving competition at the C.T. Branin Natatorium. Denison sits in second with 57 points, followed by DePauw (46), Kenyon (43), Wittenberg (30) and Oberlin (23), while Hiram, Ohio Wesleyan and Wooster have yet to score.

The 29th annual North Coast Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships will be held February 13-16 at C.T. Branin Natatorium, in Canton, Ohio. The 2013 meet, hosted by Kenyon, is held at an off-campus site to accommodate overwhelming spectator response to the top NCAA Division III swimming and diving conference championship. With the 2013 NCAC Swimming & Diving Championships scheduled for February 13-16 at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio, four more regular season meets remain on the schedule this weekend. Ohio Wesleyan plays host to Kenyon on Friday, while Saturday meets feature Denison traveling to Ohio Wesleyan, Kenyon hosting Wittenberg and DePauw traveling to Rose-Hulman.
