Recent Denison University graduate Katie Navarre (Upper Arlington, OH/Upper Arlington) has been recognized by the NCAA as one of the Top 30 honorees for the 2011 NCAA Woman of the Year Award. 
The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its annual All-Academic Honorees list for the 2010-11 academic year with 13 North Coast Athletic Conference student-athletes being recognized for the academic and athletic success.
Oberlin College has recently announced the addition of six new assistant coaches to the athletic department staff for the 2011-12 academic year.
Three North Coast Athletic Conference women's track & field athletes were named to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-America College Division Team. 
The North Coast Athletic Conference was represented by 16 athletes at the 2011 NCAA Track & Field Championships, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan in Delaware, Ohio. Six NCAC athletes garnered All-American honors at the three-day event.
