NCAC Weekly Release (3-31-14) - Outdoor Track & Field

North Coast track & field teams battled a late spring snow storm over the weekend while in competition at several different events. Allegheny highlighted the weekend’s performances by finishing second in both the men’s and women’s standings at the Carnegie Mellon Mini-Invite. Action resumes across the conference this weekend with four schools hosting events on Saturday, including DePauw, Oberlin, Ohio Wesleyan and Wittenberg.

NCAC Weekly Release (3-24-14) - Outdoor Track & Field

Nearly every North Coast track & field squad was in action last week, highlighted by Wabash earning the team title at the J. Owen Huntsman Relays. NCAC track & field continues in the week ahead, led by Kenyon and Wooster competing at the Wooster Invitational.

Denison Takes Early Lead In 2013-14 NCAC All-Sports Race

Denison University won a share of two league championships this fall and finished in a three-way tie for second in another to take the lead in the race for the 2013-14 North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports championship.

NCAC Lands Three On Capital One Academic All-America T&F/Cross Country Squad

Three North Coast Athletic Conference track & field /cross country student-athletes were named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-America Division III squad, it was announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on June 25th.

Twelve North Coast student-athletes put an exclamation mark on their seasons by earning All-American accolades at the 2013 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in La Crosse, Wisconsin, May 23-25.

NCAC Weekly Release (5-20-13) - NCAA Track & Field Qualifiers

The 2013 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships will be held this weekend (May 23-25) at Roger Harring Stadium at Veteran Memorial Field Sports Complex on the campus of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. The North Coast Athletic Conference will once again be well represented at the national meet as 19 individuals and two relay teams have qualified to compete. Three schools will represent the conference on the men’s side, including DePauw, Ohio Wesleyan and Wabash, while Denison, Oberlin, Ohio Wesleyan and Wooster will all have female competitors at the national meet.

Denison Wins 13th NCAC All-Sports Title; Big Red Claimed 19 Top-Five Finishes in 2012-13

Denison University posted top-five finishes in 19 of 23 sports to earn the North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports Championship for the 12th time in school history. The Big Red opened the year with top-five finishes in five of the seven fall sports, and kept the momentum rolling into the winter season with five more top-five finishes, including league titles in men's swimming & diving and women's swimming & diving. DU capped off the year with a strong showing in the spring season, finishing in the top-five in nine of the 10 sports, including the outright NCAC title in men's lacrosse. The Big Red secured the 2013 All-Sports title by compiling 165.0 total points, edging out 2012 All-Sports champion DePauw (159.5) by five-and-a-half points.

NCAC Weekly Release (5-6-13) - NCAC Track & Field Championships

The Wabash College men’s squad and the Ohio Wesleyan women’s team captured the 2013 North Coast Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field team titles on Saturday at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.  Wabash picked up its third-straight NCAC men’s crown after totaling 275.50 team points to edge out Ohio Wesleyan (148.50) for the team title, while Ohio Wesleyan earned its fifth-straight women’s title after earning 216 points to edge out Oberlin (209) for the women’s team title.
