NCAC Weekly Release (5-20-13) - NCAA Track & Field Qualifiers

The 2013 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships will be held this weekend (May 23-25) at Roger Harring Stadium at Veteran Memorial Field Sports Complex on the campus of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. The North Coast Athletic Conference will once again be well represented at the national meet as 19 individuals and two relay teams have qualified to compete. Three schools will represent the conference on the men’s side, including DePauw, Ohio Wesleyan and Wabash, while Denison, Oberlin, Ohio Wesleyan and Wooster will all have female competitors at the national meet.

Denison Wins 13th NCAC All-Sports Title; Big Red Claimed 19 Top-Five Finishes in 2012-13

Denison University posted top-five finishes in 19 of 23 sports to earn the North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports Championship for the 12th time in school history. The Big Red opened the year with top-five finishes in five of the seven fall sports, and kept the momentum rolling into the winter season with five more top-five finishes, including league titles in men's swimming & diving and women's swimming & diving. DU capped off the year with a strong showing in the spring season, finishing in the top-five in nine of the 10 sports, including the outright NCAC title in men's lacrosse. The Big Red secured the 2013 All-Sports title by compiling 165.0 total points, edging out 2012 All-Sports champion DePauw (159.5) by five-and-a-half points.

NCAC Weekly Release (5-6-13) - NCAC Track & Field Championships

The Wabash College men’s squad and the Ohio Wesleyan women’s team captured the 2013 North Coast Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field team titles on Saturday at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.  Wabash picked up its third-straight NCAC men’s crown after totaling 275.50 team points to edge out Ohio Wesleyan (148.50) for the team title, while Ohio Wesleyan earned its fifth-straight women’s title after earning 216 points to edge out Oberlin (209) for the women’s team title.

Wabash Men; Ohio Wesleyan Women Capture 2013 NCAC Outdoor Titles

The Wabash College men's squad and the Ohio Wesleyan women's team captured the 2013 North Coast Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field team titles on Saturday at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. Wabash, which earned its third-straight team title, accumulated 275.5 team points to edge out Ohio Wesleyan (148.50) for the team title, while Ohio Wesleyan earned its fifth-straight women's title after earning 216 points to edge out Oberlin (209) for the team title.

NCAC Weekly Release (4-29-13) - T&F Pre-Championship Poll

The 29th annual North Coast Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held this weekend (May 3-4) at Wilder Track on the campus of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. The Wabash men will look to defend the North Coast title, while the Ohio Wesleyan women look for their fifth league crown in a row and the sixth in the past seven seasons. Both squads have been tabbed as the favorites this year on the pre-championship coaches’ polls.

NCAC Weekly Release (4-22-13) - Track & Field

The first events of the 2013 NCAC Track & Field Championships will be contested this weekend (Apr. 27-28) at Ohio Wesleyan. The men will compete in the decathlon, while the women will participate in the heptathlon. The 2013 NCAC Track & Field Championships will then be contested the following weekend (May 3-4) at Kenyon.

NCAC Weekly Release (4-15-13) - Track & Field

It was a busy weekend for North Coast track & field squads as the Ohio-based schools competed at the All-Ohio Championships at Ohio Wesleyan, while DePauw and Wabash were in action at the Indiana Division III Championships at Franklin College. League action continues this week, highlighted by Allegheny hosting a Tri-Meet on Tuesday and Kenyon hosting its annual spring invitational on Saturday.
