Oberlin's Longley Resigns Women's Lacrosse Post

Oberlin College Delta Lodge Director of Athletics and Physical Education William Roth has announced that Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach Liz Longley has resigned to accept the same position at Connecticut College. Assistant Coach Kate Fowler will also be stepping down. A national search for Longley’s successor will begin immediately.

Hiram Names Erika Blozie As First Women's Lacrosse Coach In School History

Hiram College officially announced the hiring of Erika Blozie as the first women’s lacrosse coach in school history.  Blozie comes to Hiram following a five-year stay at Stevenson (Md.) University where she served as assistant lacrosse coach and head women’s field hockey coach.  The Terrier women’s lacrosse team will begin varsity competition in the spring of 2013.

DePauw Adds Men's and Women's Lacrosse as Varsity Sports in 2012-13

Men's and women's lacrosse will be added as varsity sports at DePauw University effective with the 2012-13 academic year, President Brian W. Casey announced today. DePauw students have been playing club lacrosse, and will continue to do so through the coming academic year.

Wooster's Liz Ford Gets Opportunity to Coach at International Level

With the FIFA Women's Soccer World Cup having just completed in Germany, another international competition is set to get underway, and The College of Wooster's Liz Ford will be on the sidelines. She's coaching the Haudenosaunee under-19 team at the Women's Lacrosse World Championship, which is run by the Federation of International Lacrosse.

Beth Hemminger Selected As New Wittenberg Women's Lacrosse Head Coach

Wittenberg Director of Athletics and Recreation Garnett Purnell has announced the hiring of Beth Hemminger as the university's new women's lacrosse head coach. Hemminger replaces Nichole Johnson, who resigned in May and has since accepted the same position at Savannah College of Art & Design.

Grossman Takes Reins of OWU Women's Lacrosse

Meg Grossman, assistant women’s lacrosse and women's soccer coach at Ohio Wesleyan University, has been named head coach of the Ohio Wesleyan women’s lacrosse team for the 2011-12 academic year, it was announced by athletics director Roger Ingles.

Denison Tabs Ramey Head Women's Lacrosse Coach

Associate Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation Lynn Schweizer has announced the hiring of Kristin Ramey as Denison's next head women's lacrosse coach and assistant professor of physical education.  Ramey becomes Denison's ninth head coach of the women's lacrosse program.  She succeeds interim head coach P.J. Soteriades who has handled the day to day operations of the program since January.
