Assistant Coach Kate Fowler will also be stepping down. A national search for Longley’s successor will begin immediately.
Hiram College officially announced the hiring of Erika Blozie as the first women’s lacrosse coach in school history. Blozie comes to Hiram following a five-year stay at Stevenson (Md.) University where she served as assistant lacrosse coach and head women’s field hockey coach. The Terrier women’s lacrosse team will begin varsity competition in the spring of 2013.

Associate Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation Lynn Schweizer has announced the hiring of Kristin Ramey as Denison's next head women's lacrosse coach and assistant professor of physical education. Ramey becomes Denison's ninth head coach of the women's lacrosse program. She succeeds interim head coach P.J. Soteriades who has handled the day to day operations of the program since January.
