DePauw Tied for Third, Allegheny Women 10th After First Round of NCAA Women's Golf

DePauw shot an opening-round 314 and is tied for third after the first of four rounds of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships on the Zollner Golf Course. Williams leads with a 307, while Methodist is second at 310. The Tigers, seeded second in the Championships and ranked third in the latest coaches' poll, are tied with St. Olaf. Allegheny closed the first day in 10th place after shooting a 320 to close the opening round on the par 72, 5,990-yard course in Angola, Indiana.
