CSCAA Hands Out 2011-12 Scholar All-America Accolades
2012 CSCAA Scholar All-America Awards
The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently handed out its yearly Scholar All-America Accolades and the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) was well represented on the Scholar All-America Team lists.
On the men's side, Oberlin led all NCAC squads on the Scholar All-America Team list with a 3.46 GPA, followed by Allegheny (3.43), Wabash (3.21), DePauw (3.20), Kenyon (3.16) and Wooster (3.08). In addition, 12 NCAC male student-athletes were named to the Scholar All-America Team and four student-athletes were named to the Scholar All-America Honorable Mention squad.
Hiram led all women's squads on the Scholar All-America Team lists with a cumulative GPA of 3.67, followed by Allegheny (3.45), Oberlin (3.45), Wooster (3.39), Kenyon (3.34), DePauw (3.34), Wittenberg (3.29) and Denison (3.19). Additionally, 15 NCAC female student-athletes were named to the Scholar All-America Team and two student-athletes were named to the Scholar All-America Honorable Mention team.
