Three NCAC Softball Players Named To Capital One Academic All-District Squad

Three North Coast Athletic Conference softball players were named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-District 7 First Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Wittenberg sophomore Rachel Ross (Westerville, OH/South) was joined on the first team by a pair of DePauw Tigers, including junior Amy Hallett (Phoenix, AZ/Pinnacle) and senior Rachel MacBeth (Indianapolis, IN/Perry Meridian). As members of the Academic All-District first team, Ross, Hallett and MacBeth will now advance to the Academic All-America Ballot. The Academic All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
