The 2012 NCAC Championships will be held at Kenyon this weekend (Apr. 27-29). The women’s tournament will run from Friday through Saturday afternoon, while the men’s tournament will begin Saturday afternoon and conclude on Sunday. The complete tournament bracket will be released tomorrow evening.

DENISON closed out the regular season with a 2-1 record. The Big Red shutout Wooster and Wabash before dropping a 6-3 decision at DePauw on Sunday. Senior Tim Martin (Oak Park, IL/Oak Park-River Forest) became the program’s all-time leader in doubles victories on Wednesday against Wooster. Martin logged his 65th career win with an 8-1 decision at the second flight. Martin and partner Tom Cawood (East Lansing, MI/East Lansing) went 3-0 at No. 2 doubles and improved to 11-0 on the season. In singles play, Cawood moved to 13-2 at the top flight following a 3-0 record last week ...

DEPAUW is ranked in a tie at No. 30 in Division III. During the week, the Tigers faced three nationally-ranked teams as Vincennes is No. 3 in the junior college poll, Washington (MO) is No. 17 and Denison is No. 29. The Tigers fell to Vincennes, 7-2, and Washington-St. Louis, 8-1, before defeating Denison, 6-3. DePauw has posted its 38th winning season in the last 39 years dating back to 1974

The No. 4 ranked KENYON Lords played all four of their NCAC East Division matches last week and won all of them by 9-0 scores. That four-game spurt extended the Kenyon men’s NCAC regular-season winning streak to 55 games, dating back to the 2000 season ...

WITTENBERG split the week with a Senior Day 7-2 win over Wooster on Thursday, followed by a 9-0 loss to Case.
