2013 ALL-NCAC MEN'S TENNIS SQUAD ANNOUNCED; Kenyon senior Paul Burgin (Baltimore, MD/Pikesville) has been named Player of the Year and Oberlin freshman Callan Louis (Cambridge, MA/The Rivers School) has been selected as Newcomer of the Year to highlight the 2012 All-North Coast Athletic Conference men's tennis selections. Burgin was also selected to the first team in doubles with partner Tim Rosensteel (East Windsor, NJ/Peddie School), while Razumovsky and senior C.J. Williams (Richmond, VA/St. Christopher's) also represented the Lords with first team doubles honors. The DePauw tandem of Miles and junior Ben Kopecky (Rochester, MN/Rochester Lourdes) were the final first-team doubles selection.

Burgin {left}, the defending NCAC Player of the Year, earned his fourth career All-NCAC citation and third-straight first-team award after finishing the regular season with a 17-6 record at the top singles position in dual match competition. Allegheny junior Pat Cole (Livonia, MI/University of Detroit Jesuit) also makes his third-straight appearance on the first-team squad, while DePauw junior Sam Miles (Indianapolis, IN/Park Tudor) and Kenyon sophomore Mike Razumovsky (Baltimore, MD/Pikesville) both appear on the first team for the second year in a row. Denison sophomore Casey Cempre (Worthington, OH/Thomas Worthington), an honorable-mention selection a year ago, and Kenyon sophomore Wade Heerboth (Tucson, AZ/Foothill), a second-team selection in 2012, both make their debut on the top squad.
Louis {right} was voted Newcomer of the Year with a 12-7 record in singles competition. On the year Louis played in the top four singles positions in the lineup, posting a record of 5-7 at No. 1, 3-0 at No. 2, 3-0 at No. 3 and 1-0 at No. 4. He also posted a combined record of 11-11 in doubles competition.
Kenyon head coach Scott Thielke {left} was named the men's tennis Coach of the Year by vote of the league coaches for the sixth time in his career and the second year in a row. Thielke has guided the Lords to a 23-3 record and their seventh-straight NCAC Championship. He is 304-98 in his 17 seasons at the helm of the Kenyon men's program.
