NCAC Weekly Release (4-9-12) - Track & Field

The Ohio-based North Coast track & field squads will compete this Saturday at Ohio Wesleyan at the 2012 All-Ohio Div. III Championships, while DePauw and Wabash will compete in a similar event for Indiana schools on Saturday at Franklin College.

All 10 NCAC Institutions Represented in Latest Div. III Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Standings

The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) has placed all 10 member institutions on the updated 2011-12 Division III Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Standings which includes the results from 2011-12 NCAA winter postseason championships. The Directors' Cup Standings measure each institution's overall achievement in postseason play by awarding points based on each team's finish in NCAA postseason competition.

Denison Joins Wabash On USTFCCCA Men's Track & Field Top 25

The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) has two men’s outdoor track & field squad ranked among the nation's best. Wabash moved up two positions and is ranked 11th in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Preseason Top 25 while Denison moved up 29 places to debut at No. 25. In addition, the NCAC moved up two spots to No. 7 on the men’s conference index Top 10.

NCAC Weekly Release (4-2-12) - Outdoor Track & Field

North Coast track & field squads performed at a high level last weekend as 11 squads posted top five finishes in events, led by the Wabash men who won the Hanover Invitational and the Wooster women who won their own Wooster Invitational.

The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) has one men’s outdoor track & field squad ranked among the nation's best. Wabash is ranked 10th in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Preseason Top 25. In addition, the NCAC debuted at No. 9 on the men’s conference index Top 10.

NCAC Weekly Release (3-26-12) - Track & Field

North Coast track & field squads were out in full force last weekend, led by the Ohio Wesleyan University women's squad finishing first out of six teams at Muskingum's Amy Adams Memorial Invitational in New Concord, Ohio.

Wabash Sits 7th On USTFCCCA NCAA Div. III Program Of The Year Standings

After finishing 16th at the 2011 NCAA cross country championships and 11th at the 2011-12 NCAA indoor track & field championships, Wabash College currently sits in seventh place on the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2011-12 Men's Program of the Year standings.

Wabash's Kevin McCarthy And Ohio Wesleyan's Sharif Kronemer Earn NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships

Ohio Wesleyan senior Sharif Kronemer (Silver Springs, MD/Springbrook) and Wabash senior Kevin McCarthy (Zionsville, In/Zionsville), both cross country and track & field athletes, have been awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. The NCAA awarded 58 postgraduate scholarships of $7,500 to 29 male student-athletes and 29 female student-athletes who participated in fall sports.

Ohio Wesleyan Takes Early Lead In 2011-12 NCAC All-Sports Race

Ohio Wesleyan won one outright championship and finished tied for first in another to take the lead in the race for the 2011-12 North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports championship.
