Tony D’Abarno, Ohio Wesleyan Ohio Wesleyan senior defenseman Tony D’Abarno led the Battling Bishop defense in its 7-6, title-clinching win over previously undefeated Wittenberg. D’Abarno picked up seven ground balls, caused a turnover with less than three minutes left, then scooped up the loose ball after the potential game-tying shot was blocked with 10 seconds left. |

Matt Snider, Wittenberg
Wittenberg senior Matt Snider scored three times, including the game-winner, and added an assist on three shots as the Tigers clinched a share of their second consecutive NCAC title. Snider also contributed three ground balls as the Tigers upended Wooster, 11-3.

Mark DeOliveira, Wittenberg Wittenberg senior goalie Mark DeOliveira was one save shy of his career-best after stopping 18 shots in the Tigers’ 9-8 road victory over Denison last week. DeOliveira also led the team with six ground balls and one caused turnover. Wittenberg’s victory over Denison continued its record-setting season as the Tigers are currently 10-0 overall and 3-0 in NCAC play. |

A.J. Pellis, Ohio Wesleyan Ohio Wesleyan junior A.J. Pellis scored three consecutive goals during the final six minutes of regulation to tie the game with Wooster at 9, and send the game to overtime. He finished with a team-high five goals. The Battling Bishops won the game after six overtimes, 10-9. |

Denison senior Emmett Jones tallied four goals in the Big Red’s 12-6 victory over conference-rival Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon. Jones, who has scored 17 goals in five-career games against OWU, also moved into fourth on Denison’s all-time goal scoring list (119) with his four-goal performance. |
