NCAC Weekly Release (3-17-14) - NCAA Div. III Indoor T&F Championships

The 2014 NCAA Division III Men’s & Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships concluded on Saturday (3/15) afternoon at the University of Nebraska’s Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Following the two days of competition, four student-athletes from the NCAC posted All-American performances.

Four NCAC Student-Athletes Earn All-American Track & Field Honors

USTFCCCA Regional Awards Announced; OWU's DeAngelis & WIT's Banjo Named Track Athletes Of The Year

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the organization's region athletes and coaches of the year for the 2013-14 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season on Wednesday (3/12). Ohio Wesleyan senior Cara DeAngelis (Norton, OH/Ellet) {left} was named the Great Lakes Region Women's Track Athlete of the Year, while Wittenberg senior Victor Banjo (Sugarland, TX/Stephen F. Austin) {right} was named the Great lakes Region Men's Track Athlete of the Year. In addition, Wabash head coach Clyde Morgan garnered the Men's Coach of the Year award and Wabash's Roger Busch was named the Men's Assistant Coach of the Year for the Great Lakes Region.

Denison Maintains Lead In 2013-14 NCAC All-Sports Race

Denison University won two outright winter sport league championships to go along with one second-place finish and one third-place finish to maintain its lead in the race for the 2013-14 North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports Championship.

12 NCAC Student-Athletes To Compete At NCAA Indoor Championships

The NCAA Division III Men's & Women's Track & Field Committee announced the participants for the 2014 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on Monday, March 10th, and 12 student-athletes from the North Coast Athletic Conference have qualified to compete at the national meet.

The Wabash College men’s squad and the Ohio Wesleyan women’s team captured the 2014 North Coast Athletic Conference team titles on Saturday evening at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Wabash, which won its fourth consecutive team title, accumulated an NCAC-record 256 total points to edge out Ohio Wesleyan (142), while the Ohio Wesleyan women earned their eighth-straight title after earning 193.5 points to edge Denison (118).

NCAC Weekly Release (3-3-14) - Indoor T&F Pre-Championship Poll

The 30th annual North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held this weekend (March 7-8) at Mitchell Fieldhouse on the campus of Denison University in Granville, Ohio. The Wabash men will look for their fourth-straight North Coast title, while the Ohio Wesleyan women look to capture their fifth league crown in a row and the eighth in the past nine seasons. NCAC Weekly Release (2-24-14) - Track & Field

Kenyon hosted a pod of NCAC squads on its campus this past weekend, while numerous NCAC teams were also in action at the Kent State Tune-Up. In the coming week, the NCAC Pentathlon and Heptathlon events will take place at Kenyon on Saturday and Sunday.
