NCAC Men's and Women's Cross Country - 2012 Championships Preview

The 2012 NCAC Cross Country Championships will be held this Saturday (10/27) at the L.C. Boles Golf Course on the campus of The College of Wooster. The men’s race is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the women’s race at noon.

Allegheny Men, Oberlin Women Selected To Win 2012 NCAC Cross Country Titles

For the sixth time in the past seven season’s, North Coast Athletic Conference coaches have predicted that Oberlin will claim the NCAC women’s cross country championship through pre-championship coaches balloting, while Allegheny was tabbed as the favorite on the men’s side.

NCAC Cross Country Well Represented On USTFCCCA National Polls

The North Coast cross country circuit was once again well represented on the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Poll, released on October 17th. In the women's poll, Oberlin cracked the top 10 and sits at No. 9 and Kenyon dropped four slots to No. 30, while Allegheny elevated two spots to No. 18 on the men's poll and Wabash sits at No. 26.

NCAC Weekly Release (10-15-12) - Cross Country

With the 2012 NCAC Cross Country Championships just two weeks away, many league squads wrapped up their regular season schedules this past weekend. The 2012 NCAC Cross Country Championships are scheduled for Saturday, October 27, at the College of Wooster with the men’s race beginning at 11:00 a.m. and the women’s race at noon.

Four NCAC Cross Country Squads Ranked On USTFCCCA Coaches' Poll

For the second week in a row, four North Coast cross country squads are ranked among the nation's top squads on the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national coaches' polls. In the women's poll, both Oberlin and Kenyon held steady at No. 14 and No. 26, respectively, while the Allegheny men dropped to No. 20 and Wabash elevated two spots to No. 23.

NCAC Weekly Release (10-9-12) - Cross Country

DEPAUW and WABASH were the only two North Coast cross country squads in action last week as the two programs traveled to Rose-Hulman for the Gibson Family Pre-National Invitational. The race was held at the Laverne Gibson Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Indiana, which will also serve as the site for the 2012 NCAA Division III National Championships.
