The North Coast fall golf season officially came to a close last week at the O’Briant-Jensen Memorial, hosted by Guilford College at Cardinal Golf & Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. The league will resume play this spring and begin preparing for the NCAC Golf Championship Series. The first NCAC Golf event is scheduled for April 27-28 at Granville G.C. in Granville, Ohio, while event two is scheduled for May 4-5 at Oakhaven G.C. in Delaware, Ohio.

OHIO WESLEYAN wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule at the O’Briant-Jensen Memorial, hosted by Guilford College on Monday and Tuesday (10/22-10/23) at Cardinal Golf & Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. Methodist won the tournament with a 36-hole total of 578 (293-285), while the Battling Bishops finished ninth overall with a two-day tally of 637 (320-317). Freshman Drew O’Connor (San Diego, CA/Parker) was OWU’s top individual finisher at the event after carding a 156 (76-80) to tie for 31st-place in the individual standings. In addition, senior Jerry Moore (Mogadore, OH/Mogadore) tied for 35th with a 158 (78-80) and junior Tyler Carney-DeBord (Delaware, OH/Hayes) tied for 45th with a 161 (82-79).
