Allegheny & DePauw Earn Bids For 2012 NCAA Div. III Women's Golf Championships

The Allegheny College and DePauw University women's golf squads both earned at-large invitations for the 2012 NCAA Div. III Women's Golf Championships. The women's golf championships will kick-off next Tuesday (May 8) and conclude on Friday (May 11) at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana, with Trine University serving as the host institution. DePauw, which captured its first-ever NCAC title this season, will be making its 11th-straight appearance in the national tournament, while Allegheny extended its national record as the Gators are the first golf program across all NCAA divisions to qualify for the national championships in each of its first seven years as a varsity program.
