Six NCAC Baseball Players Named To D3baseball.com All-Mideast Region Squad

2012 D3baseball.com All-Mideast Region Team

Six North Coast Athletic Conference baseball players were named to the 2012 D3baseball.com All-Mideast Region team, while DePauw head coach Jake Martin was tabbed the region's Coach of the Year.

Kenyon junior Jesse Weiss (Los Angeles, CA/Winward) was the NCAC's lone representative on the first team in the designated hitter position, while DePauw shortstop Zach Starr (Fishers, IN/Hamilton Southeastern) and Wooster pitcher Josh Stidham (Moncolva, OH/Anthony Wayne) were both second-team selections.

Three NCAC student-athletes found a home on the third team, including DePauw sophomore second baseman Pat Lyons (Wildwood, MO/Lafayette), DePauw senior third baseman Alex Wright (Fishers, IN/Cathedral) and Wooster junior outfielder Johnathan Ray (Columbus, OH/Grandview Hts.).
