All 10 NCAC Institutions Represented in Latest Div. III Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Standings

The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) placed all 10 member institutions on the updated 2011-12 Division III Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Standings which includes the results from 2011-12 NCAA winter postseason championships. The Directors' Cup Standings measure each institution's overall achievement in postseason play by awarding points based on each team's finish in NCAA postseason competition.
Following the completion of the winter sports season, the NCAC is one of only four NCAA Div. III conferences that has 10 or more schools represented on the Directors' Cup Standings. The New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and The Middle Atlantic Conferences (MAC) lead the way with 11 institutions on the list, while the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) is also represented by 10 institutions.
Of the 10 NCAC institutions in the Directors' Cup standings, seven currently sit in the top 100, led by Denison in 30th with 282.50 points. The Big Red are followed in the standings by Wittenberg in 40th (241.00), Wabash in 49th (213.50), Ohio Wesleyan in 60th (173.50), Kenyon in 62nd (170.00), DePauw in 64th (164.50) and Wooster in 92nd (120.00). In addition, Oberlin is 122nd (89.00), Allegheny is 179th (54.00) and Hiram is 185th (50.00) on the list.
The final 2011-12 Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Standings will be announced at the conclusion of the NCAA spring sports championship season, with the release date set for June 6th.
